Recently, Dwayne Johnson revealed that he did consider switching his career to UFC; however, it didn’t happen in reality. Dwayne Johnson, better known by the name The Rock in WWE, has achieved milestones in the biggest sports entertainment and has also secured a place in the hearts of millions by delivering some mouth-watering performances in Hollywood.     Dwayne Johnson reveals the reason why he opted to stay in Hollywood over going to UFC

    During his WWE days, Dwayne Johnson was indeed among the top stars of the business. His power-packed performances, breathtaking promos, and mic skills hugely impressed the WWE universe, and that eventually made him the most electrifying man in sports entertainment. However, the people’s champion soon left WWE to the left pursue a career in acting, and eventually, he made it big in Hollywood.

    However, there was a time he considered switching to the UFC Octagon. In an interview with UFC Unfiltered, The Rock revealed why he chose to stick to his Hollywood career despite an interest in the UFC Octagon, and he stated that –

    there was a time there when he thought to achieve everything he wanted to achieve in WWE, his movie career had been floundering a little bit, and then he thought, what should he do? He said that he was relatively still young, and he thought of UFC. He thought maybe he should do something like that. In his head, he felt like it was at least a two-year process for him to even get in the [cage], let alone the UFC.

    However, the Rock later turned his attention back to Hollywood and continued to rock the Silver Screen. In a tweet from 2016, he tweeted he didn’t like getting punched in the face, which is why he didn’t join the UFC.
