The French footballer and Barcelona’s star footballer, Samuel Umtiti is having various opportunities to leave bus present club FC Barcelona in the upcoming transfer window in January 2022. Last summer, Barca tried to move on the French footballer, however, it wasn’t possible. The 27-year-old centre back footballer reluctantly agreed that he would leave Camp Nou on load if the club was right.
A meeting was conducted between the player and the president of the club Joan Laporta, which got to an end with a “no aggression pact” as well as the option to reduce the salary of the defender.
What will Umtiti Do?
The Frenchman earned some months to prove his ability by increasing his fitness, however, he has not been able to deliver the same yet. Umtiti has not played even one minute in the ongoing season, and it seems like he will continue under Xavi Hernandez.
The best solution for Umtiti is to move on to another club and offers are waiting for him in the upcoming transfer window in January 2022. Though the opportunities haven’t come from the top-level clubs still they are favourable options going for which Samuel Umtiti could get back to football again.
Barca will speak with the defender soon
The ongoing month, i.e. November is the key month for making decisions. Barcelona management will speak with Umtiti and will ask him to leave Camp Nou once again. Umtiti has options to go to various places including England, France and Turkey. For this time, Barcelona FC believes that their defender will finally leave them and go somewhere else for his good as well as the welfare of the club. It is to be seen which club the Frenchman joins next and how he performs there.
