Ubisoft has announced that Ubisoft+, a program similar to Game Pass, will be coming to PlayStation. A version of it will also be included in the new PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscription tiers.

Ubisoft+ Classics, which comes included with PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers, will be the first release on PlayStation. This version of Ubisoft+ will contain Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, The Division, and For Honor, among a “selected selection of popular titles” (27 available at launch).

When the new edition of PlayStation Plus comes, Ubisoft+ Classics will be available (June 13 in America, June 23 in Europe). While Ubisoft has now officially announced the service, it was hinted at when Sony stated that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla would be included in the new PlayStation Plus subscription.

Child of Light, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, Far Cry 4, Steep, South Park: The Fractured But Whole, The Crew 2, Trials Rising, Watch Dogs, and Werewolves Within are among the other titles included in the first 27.

By the end of 2022, Ubisoft promises that the Classics collection will have grown to over 50 games, with “more games planned in the future.”

Ubisoft also announced that the full version of Ubisoft+ (which includes over 100 games, day one releases, and premium editions of some games) will be available on PlayStation and Xbox consoles. Apart from the assurance that the service “ultimately will be available on PlayStation and Xbox,” no date for either system was given. Ubisoft+ is now limited to PC, Stadia, and Amazon’s Luna service.
