Luís Carlos Almeida da Cunha ComM, commonly known as Nani, is a Portuguese international. The winger has been one of the key players during Manchester United’s Premier League dominance. He is now the captain of Major League Soccer side Orlando City SC.
Nani played for Premier League side Manchester United notably from 2007 to 2014, making 147 appearances and scoring 25 goals. He played alongside Cristiano Ronaldo at the start of his career at United and later became more important for the team under Sir Alex Ferguson.
The Portuguese won the Premier League and the Champions League double in his very first season at Old Trafford and later won another 3 Premier League titles with United. He even won the Portuguese league 3 times with Sporting CP. He has also won an international trophy with Portugal, the UEFA European Championship 2016.
Nani now plies his trade at MLS with Orlando City FC, and the winger still manages to awe the spectators. He scored an outrageous goal against New York City from outside the box and triggered many memories from his old playing days at United.
