On Friday i.e. 27th August 2021, actor Vijay Sethupathi has made the announcement regarding his upcoming film named Tughlaq Durbar which will premiere on Netflix. But he stopped short of announcing the release date. The trailer of the film will is all set to release on 31st August 2020. It seems that on that very day it will reveal its release date.
Tughlaq Durbar will first have its television premiere on Sun TV before it makes its debut on Netflix. It is noteworthy that the Tamil film Bhoomika will also premiere on Vijay Television before it was made available on Netflix.
The film Tughlaq Durbar is directed by Delhiprasad Deenadayalan, this is his debut directorial. Tughlaq Durbar is an entertaining political drama. The film also marks Vijay Sethupathi’s second collaboration with Parthiban. This duo has also previously shared the screen in Vignesh Shivan’s hit comedy-drama named Naanum Rowdy Dhaan. It is expected that this duo will again tickle fan’s funny bones with Tughlaq Durbar. The film stars Manjima Mohan and Raashi Khanna in important roles.
Vijay Sethupati already has three movies ready in the queue for their release in September. His much-awaited film is Laabam that will release in cinemas on 9th September, which will coincide with Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. The star’s upcoming horror-comedy Annabelle Sethupathi is going to be premiere on Disney Plus Hotstar on 17th September. And his latest collaboration with director M Manikandan titled Kadaisi Vivasayi is also set to release on SonyLiv in September.
