    Tokyo Olympics 2021: Indian women boxer Mary Kom loses against Colombia’s Victoria Valencia

    Mary Kom is an Indian female boxer who is the only one to win the World Amateur Boxing Championship six times. She is also the only female boxer to have won a medal in each of the first seven World Championships. And she is the only boxer (male or female) to win eight World Championship medals.

    Mangte Chungneijang Mary Kom is the full name of Mary kom. Mary Kom is also named Magnificient Mary because she has won many things. Mary had also been ranked as the world’s No. 1 female light-flyweight by the International Boxing Association (amateur).

    But sadly, Indian female boxer Mary Kom has been defeated by Colombia’s Victoria Valencia in the Tokyo Olympics 2020. Victoria Valencia qualified to the Quarter-finals after beating Mangte Chungneijang Mary Kom. Four out of the five judges gave Victoria Valencia 10 out of 10, while one judge had given 9 out of 10 because of her showing.

    Mary Kom tried his best to win the 2nd and the 3rd round. But, at last, Mary Kom was defeated by Victoria Valencia which resulted in her exit from the Tokyo Olympics 2020.
