Roy Krishna, the Fiji striker has signed a contract extending with the club ATK Mohun Bagan. This is for the Indian Super League, which states that he will play for the club for at least one more year.
Krishna has been a magnificent player in ISL, and especially for Mohun Bagan as well. From the beginning, he is serving in this tournament as one of the best players. In the last season, out of his 23 appearances, he has scored 14 goals. His team finished second in the tournament, as they eventually lost to Mumbai City FC in the final.

ATK Mohun Bagan recently signed Hugo Boumous from Mumbai City FC. With this, there have been some speculations like the Islanders are doing a work of tempting Krishna as revenge. Though this won’t happen at least for another year.

Krishna has been with ATK Mohun Bagan since the club’s beginning of ISL. And in his first season only, he led his team to emerge victoriously and win the tournament in 2019. He delivered 15 goals in his 21 appearances that season, along with six assists.

Krishna has been in the club since it was Athletico the Kolkata. In 2019, when ATK merged with Mohun Bagan, they retained Roy Krishna, and consequently finished in the second position of the tournament, at the Indian Premier League.
And in the historic day for Mohun Bagan, where they won the IFA Shield in 1911, the club announced that a new deal with Krishna has been finalized. With this fans are cheering utmost, and they are certainly very happy, with getting the opportunity to see their star player playing for the club again.
