TRANSSION India has launched the new TECNO Spark 8, the company’s latest budget smartphone in the Spark Series, a couple of months after the launch of the phone with the same name. It features a 6.52″ HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 20:9.
The device comes with 3GB RAM, a dual-camera setup with a 16MP rear sensor with f/1.8 aperture along with an AI lens, and a quad-LED flash. Coming to the front camera, it has an 8MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture integrated into the waterdrop notch.
The TECNO Spark 8 runs on Android 11 OS with HiOS 7.6 on top. The phone has a fingerprint scanner on the back for security. The placement of the sensor, however, is rather peculiar as it has been integrated into the camera island, the only plausible explanation for this is the ease of accessing the scanner.
When you hold your phone with a single hand, your index finger naturally tends to rest near the camera lens. The TECNO Spark 8 has a plastic back, dedicated dual SIM support, and a microSD card slot as well. It has a 5,000mAh battery as well.
The device has an expandable memory of up to 256GB with a microSD card, it supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS.
The TECNO Spark 8 comes in Atlantic Blie, Turquoise Cyan, and Iris Purple colours, it is priced at 9,299 INR and is available in offline stores.
