Tata Nexon has consistently sold reasonably well since its inception. It takes pride in being the first Indian vehicle to ever receive a 5-star rating for collision safety from Global NCAP as part of the Safer Cars For India Campaign. Since a few months ago, Nexon has been India’s best-selling SUV. Only in August 2022 did Nexon narrowly lose first place to Brezza.

Tata Motors has nailed the nail on the head with the redesigned model. Compared to the model before the facelift, it appeared much crisper and cleaner. Popular trims like XM (S) and XM+ are aiding Nexon’s cause (S). Tata recently employed this strategy in the Safari and Harrier models by including a popular feature, such as a sunroof, in lesser variants. Together, these elements contributed to Nexon’s success as a product.

The 4,00,000th unit has left the Ranjangaon factory in Pune owned by Tata. After reaching the 300K milestone, Nexon accomplished this accomplishment in just seven months. The time interval between each milestone of 1 lakh units manufactured since launch was reduced. Nexon is presently the best-selling Tata product in India, with a YTD growth of 72%.

The milestone accomplishment of Nexon at the Ranjangaon facility was overseen by Mr. Mohan Savarkar, Vice President, Product Line, and Mr. Rajesh Khatri, Vice President, Operations, of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. To further increase sales, the Indian manufacturer also unveiled a new XZ+ (L) trim.

Speaking of the XZ+ (L) trim, it starts at Rs. 11,37,900. (ex-sh, Delhi). There are options for both gasoline and diesel engines with this trim. Additionally, it is available with both manual and AMT choices. The cherry on top is that this new trim is available in a Dark Edition as well.

Tata Nexon now offers 77 different versions. There are 37 versions for Nexon Diesel and 40 variants for Nexon Petrol.

The XZ+ (L) trim’s starting price of Rs. 11,37,900 (ex-sh, Delhi) includes a lot of amenities. The ventilated leatherette seats, air purifier, and automatically dimming IRVM are the most important ones. As with Nexon EVs, this XZ+ (L) might have been equipped with an electronic parking brake. OK, though. It shares the same specifications as the rest of the Nexon lineup.
