Stellar Blade PC Launches June 11 with New Content and Features

Stellar Blade is set to arrive on PC just over a year after its initial release on PS5, developer Shift Up announced. The studio announced the PC version will be released on June 11 on Thursday. The news came after a trailer for the PC port popped up early on PlayStation’s YouTube channel, which detailed some of the platform-specific features.

As expected from earlier leaks, the PC edition will include extra content, unlocked framerates, and other enhancements. They also announced on a PlayStation Blog post that all the new PC content will be added to PS5 in the form of a free patch. Technical director DonKi Lee said the enhancement team worked to provide the best possible experience for both newcomers looking to join Eve’s mission on PC and veterans on PS5.

Stellar Blade will feature AI upscaling and frame generation technologies like Nvidia DLSS 4 and AMD FSR 3.0 on PC, as well as unlocked framerate for enhanced performance on high-end PCs. It will also feature support for ultra-wide (21:9) and super ultra-wide (32:9) resolutions, as well as high-resolution background textures that can be turned on via the 4K texture option. PC gamers will be able to experience the DualSense controller’s haptic feedback and adaptive trigger features, both of which will add depth to games.

Gamepads, keyboards, and mice will have full key remapping options for user-specific controls. New additions include an extra boss battle with Mann, Sentinel’s leader, in the Boss Challenge mode, as well as 25 new costumes for the protagonist, Eve, which will also be arriving on PS5. Accessibility will be improved with Simplified Chinese and Japanese voiceovers added globally, complete with matching facial animations.

The PC version requires 75GB of SSD space and a minimum of 16GB of RAM. Minimum specs include Windows 10 64-bit, an Intel i5-7600K or Ryzen 5 1600X CPU, and a GTX 1060 or RX 580 GPU for 1080p at 60fps on low settings. Recommended specs include higher-end CPUs and GPUs for 1440p performance, with top-tier hardware supporting 4K at 60fps. Stellar Blade will release on June 11 worldwide, June 12 in India, and is now available for pre-order on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
