Ubisoft has revealed the release date for its upcoming Star Wars Outlaws expansion, A Pirate’s Fortune, after the DLC trailer was leaked on Thursday. The expansion will be available for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series S/X on May 15, 2025. This will be the second story expansion for Star Wars Outlaws after the Wild Card DLC launched in November 2024. Ubisoft also announced for Nintendo Switch 2 the release date of Star Wars Outlaws, alongside an announcement of the second expansion.

In A Pirate’s Fortune, the main character, Kay Vess, seeks treasure with her partner in crime, Nyx, as they navigate the Khepi system, as shown in the leaked trailer. They enlist the help of the villainous pirate Hondo Ohnaka to learn of secrets stored in the Khepi Tomb. And yes, players will be faced with the Miyuki Trade League and earn rewards for smuggling runs. Intended to debut at Star Wars Celebration, the trailer leaked online early.
A Pirate’s Fortune will be free for any players who finished the main story in the base game, and will be automatically available for anyone who bought the season pass. For others, it will be sold individually. The DLC includes tons of in-game bonuses and cosmetics as well. Earth and Gezora the Gorger will also receive those who own the Ultimate and Deluxe Editions of the base game: Naboo Nobility and Desert Nomad cosmetic packs.
Players will also receive free new cosmetics inspired by the Star Wars: Skeleton Crew series over at Disney+. Ubisoft also announced that a free three-hour demo for Star Wars Outlaws will be available permanently across all supported platforms. Star Wars Outlaws will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 on September 4, 2025.
