Sunrisers Hyderabad secures their first of the season, whereas the defending champions Chennai Super Kings are still on a losing streak. Youngster Abhishek Shamra played a brilliant knock and got the man of the match award, and Rahul Tripathi’s speedy inning led the orange army towards victory. CSK batted first and put up 154 for the loss of 7 wickets on the scoreboard, and SRH chased down the total in 17.4 overs and gained victory by 8 wickets. Here are 3 factors to consider that led SRH to secure the win.

    Tight bowling by SRH

SRH has been always renowned for their bowling and in this match, they did the same with their bowling. Not only did they limit CSK with 154 runs, but they didn’t lead the yellow army to build a good partnership. Though Moeen Ali and Ambati Rayudu were handling the business, it didn’t work for long.

    Impressive knock by Abhishek Sharma

Though 154 isn’t a big total to chase, you always need someone to score runs to lead your team across the victory margin. In this match, Abhishek Sharma took up that job who came as one opener alongside Kane Williamson and played a brilliant knock of 75 of 50 balls with 5 fours and 3 sixes, with a strike rate of 150.

    Tripathi’s finishing touch

After Kane Williamson got out at 32, Rahul Tripathi came to bat at number 3, and played a speedy knock of 39 of 15 balls with 5 fours and 2 sixes, with a massive strike rate of 260. Abhishek Sharma made run-chase look easy, and Rahul Tripathi even made it easier. His innings led the orange army to pick up the win with 14 balls remaining, leading SRH to better their run rate in the points table.
