Sunrisers Hyderabad picks up an easy victory over Kolkata Knight Riders on Friday at the Brabourne Stadium. Credit goes to Rahul Tripathi as well as Aiden Markram for their brilliant respective innings, and the Orange Army has started to better their standings in the present season of the Indian Premier League. KKR batted first and put up a score of 176 for the loss of 3 wickets. SRH coming to bat in the second innings, chased down the score with ease in 17.5 overs. Here are three facts to consider from the match.

Dismissing the top order of KKR early

SRH bowlers did a brilliant job by dismissing the top order of KKR early. Venkatesh Iyer hasn’t been in a good form this season, scored 6 of 13, and Aaron Finch, the KKR debutant scored 7 of 5 deliveries. KKR wasn’t in a good position, and after that, Shreyas Iyer and Sunil Narine also didn’t play a long and impactful inning.

Brilliant Counter Attack by Rahul Tripathi

Ex-KKR star Rahul Tripathi played an impressive knock for SRH to lead them towards victory. SRH were unstable when they lost both of their openers including Abhishek Sharma and Kane Williamson. From that position, Tripathi came to bat at number 4 and played a stormy 71 of 37 balls with 4 fours and 6 sixes, with a strike rate of 191.89. He was given the man of the match award for his brilliance.

    Aiden Markram’s finish for SRH

Alongside Rahul Tripathi playing a brilliant inning for SRH, Aiden Markan played a terrific knock too. He scored 68 of 36 deliveries with 6 fours and 4 sixes, with a strike rate of 188.89. He hit a six at the end to get his team past the victory margin. With this win, SRH better their position by one place at the points table.
