The Inclusion of She-Hulk in Marvel’s Avengers has been revealed by a streamer when they are interacting with a Crystal Dynamics developer live on Xbox’s Twitch channel. Brian Waggoner, the Avengers’ head designer, was guest streaming on TechniqTV for less than an hour when he revealed that She-Hulk will be attending the match. Miller later shared the clip on Twitter.
Despite there being no official word the character was coming to Avengers, Techniq asked if fans wanted a fun fact about She-Hulk. “I don’t know if I can say this. I think it was public knowledge,” he said. “I’ll just say this. I don’t like the fact that Brian is making.”
“Nope. No. We have never announced She-Hulk,” Waggoner clarified as the stream grew painfully awkward. The full conversation can still be seen on Xbox’s channel (at around 52 minutes) where Techniq grew sheepish and claimed he doesn’t know if it’s true or not. “We’re working on our next hero,” Waggoner added. “We haven’t said who it’s going to be yet.”
He continued by saying that his acting teacher provided She-voice, Hulk’s but Techniq picked up on the fact that he omitted to identify the actress in case her identity wasn’t widely known.
The timing would be ideal for She-Hulk to come in the game close to her MCU premiere on August 17 given that Jane Foster became playable in Avengers last week, just in time for her reintroduction in Thor: Love and Thunder from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
