Here are 3 factors to consider from the match that led RR to victory.

Jos Buttler’s third century of the season

Jos Buttler has been in phenomenal form in the present season of the Indian Premier League, and it seems like there is no stopping the Englishman. The scored his third hundred in this campaign, 116 of 65 balls with 9 fours and 9 sixes with a strike rate of 178.46. Prasidh Krishna’s terrific penultimate over

Though RR put up a mammoth target, DC was closing near, with the help of Lalit Yadav, who scored 37 out of 24, and West Indian power-hitter Rovman Powell, who was an unbelievable 36 of 15 deliveries, with a strike rate of 240. Though Prasidh Krishan bowled the first two balls to Yadav dot in the 19th over, got Yadav out in the third one, and bowled the entire over the maiden. This was where DC was completely out of the game.

    Stopping Rovman Powell

Though everyone thought that DC was out of the game as they needed 36 off the last over, where 6 sixes would have been needed. By amazing everyone, the thriller match got more of an epic battle as Powell sent the first three balls out of the park.

Though there was a stop after the third six, as the DC dugout was calling for a no-ball, the umpires didn’t check it. In the next three balls, no boundary came, and Obed McCoy was able to defend it successfully. Though you never know, if that distraction didn’t happen, then we might have seen a new record of chasing down and hitting 36 in the last over.
