Rajasthan Royals secures an easy victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore on Tuesday at Pune, in a low-scoring match. In spite of the fact the match was low scoring, the impressive half-century of Riyan Parag turned out to be the most important factor that lead RR to gain the win. They batted first and put up 144 for the loss of 8 wickets on the scoreboard, and RCB was all out in 115.
Riyan Parag’s impressive 56
It was for the first time in TATA IPL 2022, that the men in form for Rajasthan Royals including Joss Buttler, Sanju Samson, and Shimron Hetmyer were not able to perform that well, but it was Riyan Parag who didn’t play any impactful innings this season played the same in their match against RCB. He scored a terrific 56 of 31 with 3 fours and 4 sixes, with a strike rate of 180.65, for which RR was able to score 144 at least.
RR bowlers completely demolishing RCB batters
The RR bowlers completely demolished the RCB batters, as none of the Royal Challengers were able to deliver a big score, and the highest was Faf du Plessis’s 23. Prasidh Krishna, Kuldeep Sen, and Ravichandran Ashwin got their opposition in just 115, in 19.3 overs, securing the win by 29 runs.
The emergence of Kuldeep Sen
Youngster Kuldeep Sen has been playing this first IPL, and like many of the emerging superstars, he has also been among the significant ones. He has been bowling well for RR, and has also defended runs in the death overs for his team. Also, he bowled brilliantly in their match against RCB, where conceded only 20 runs in 3.3 overs, picking up 4 wickets, with an economy of 5.71.
