Indian captain Rohit Sharma created another feat, of having the second most sixes in international cricket in his latest match against West Indies. The match was held in Florida. Apart from this, he also finished his 16000 international runs. he’s the seventh player to do so.
Rohit Sharma had opened the innings along with Suryakumar Yadav in the fourth T20I match against West Indies. He mustered a total of 33 runs out of 16 balls. He had hit three sixes to take his score to 477 international sixes defeating the tally of Shahid Afridi. He’s now behind Chris Gayle who has a total of 553 sixes attached to his name in international cricket.
He also entered the club of most international runs for India. His knock of 33 runs out of 16 deliveries helped him achieve this. Sachin Tendulkar has the highest international runs of 34357. The place is sealed by his contemporary Rahul Dravid. It’s very tough for any cricketer to break Sachin’s record.
