The greatest Luchador in WWE ever, as well as the current United States Champion Rey Mysterio, has accepted Logan Paul’s challenge as the social media superstar has called out the WWE legend, and they both will come face to face on the upcoming episode of Smackdown. Rey Mysterio did not take long to accept the challenge issued by streamer Logan Paul after he defeated mixed martial arts fighter Dillon Danis in a boxing match on Saturday.
Logan Paul calling out Mysterio
After the end of the event in Manchester, Paul publicly stated his passion was his WWE career and moved to call out Mysterio with a challenge for his United States championship.
Logan Paul declared to DAZN at the AO Arena and said to Rey Mysterio that he has already beaten him once and he is going for the United States title.
Rey Mysterio accepts Logan Paul’s challenge
Following the event of Logan Paul challenging the United States Champion Rey Mysterio, Rey accepted the proposal made by Paul, suggesting that the two should meet face-to-face on the next episode of Friday Night Smackdown. Rey Mysterio even said that he is looking to shut him up somehow. Logan Paul has said that he has an eye on something and someone, and it is him and the US title. He has only been doing this for 34 years. He doesn’t think he would have been born when that happened, he further stated.
Rey Mysterio also said that he is going to see what he has to say this Friday. This Friday, we’ll be on SmackDown. He issued him the challenge, and he responded, but he wants to settle things face-to-face, and he wants to know what he’s going to say about it. Wherever he wants to have the fight, Mysterio wants him to tell him face to face.
