It would be a scary experience to see all of the recognizable antagonists from the Resident Evil series in one place. Albert Wesker, Nemesis, Karl Heisenberg, Lady Dumitrescu, and other characters make an appearance in a new short film powered by Unreal Engine 5 that was posted by TeaserPlay. The reunion looks very terrifying because of the capabilities of the most recent version of the Epic Games engine.
The video gives a good idea of how a future entry in the series could look when it releases in a few years even though CAPCOM has used the excellent RE Engine for all of its games since the release of Resident Evil VII: Biohazard. It is unlikely that the Japanese publisher will switch to Unreal Engine 5, though.
Resident Evil Village is a crazy, exhilarating journey through what seems like every horror genre and concept that came to the crazy brains at Capcom. The game’s highs are high, and its fundamental principles and great presentation keep the gruesome patchwork together even though not every facet of it is ideal. Resident Evil Village may be a place you manage to escape, but it will always be on your mind.
On the PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Stadia, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S, Resident Evil Village is now a playable game. The Gold Edition of the game, a fresh iteration, will debut on October 28.
