According to what appears to be the European launch price of Redfall, it is not cheap. Known deal leaker ‘Billbil-Kun’ leaked the pricing for Arkane’s Redfall and its deluxe edition earlier today on Twitter. For those who are unfamiliar with this leaker, ‘Billbil-Kun’ has consistently been accurate in leaking new PlayStation Plus and Xbox Game Pass games.
According to the leaker, Redfall will be available for € 79.99 on Xbox Series X, with an upgrade to the Deluxe Edition available for € 29,99 – quite a steep price compared to previous Xbox game releases. Of course, this is only the pricing in Europe; we don’t yet know what the game will cost in other countries. Prices, on the other hand, do not vary significantly.
Redfall’s exact release date has yet to be announced, but recent rumors suggest that it will be released in May, and Microsoft and Bethesda will most likely announce the game’s release date during this month’s Developers Showcase.
“Here at Arkane Austin, we’ve decided to delay the launch of Redfall”, the dev team at Arkane wrote upon the delay announcement last year. “The team needs more time to bring the game to life. Thank you so much for your continued support. Redfall is our most ambitious game yet, and we can’t wait to show it off soon.”
Redfall was announced during Microsoft and Bethesda’s Xbox showcase in 2021, with a release date of 2022 initially planned but later pushed back to 2023.
