Real Madrid CF is planning to sign in Leon Goretzka from Bayern Munich. They also pried another player from the same club this summer, David Alaba, without paying a penny. They plan to apply the same strategy for Goretzka in this 12 months’ time that they did for Alaba.
If they succeed in this plan, they will be double benefited, as they will get a good midfielder, and don’t have to pay much in this transfer. Sources verify that Madrid had a word with the player where they said that if he stalls on a new deal in Bavaria, they will sign him in their club. It is when his contract expires in June 2022.
Madrid is in the need of a Mid-fielder
Madrid is in extreme need of a good mid-fielder who can play for them for long. Their midfielders, Luka Modric is already 35 and Toni Kroos is 31. Considering their age, neither of them won’t be able to domite the centre part of the field for long.
Considering this issue, Goretzka is only 26 years ago and has also proven himself in many matches. He has also gathered much experience and knows well and is expected to perform well if he comes to Madrid. He also plays a significant role for the German national team.
Will Leon Goretzka be interested in this?
According to various sources, Leon Goretzka has already informed Real Madrid via intermediaries that he is interested to play for them, and perform well, in their white shirt soon.
Also, Bayern Munich is trying to renew their contract with the German footballer in recent months, but all in vain. They are fearing that this will be a repetition of what happened in the case of Alaba. Moreover, Manchester United is also keeping an eye on this situation.
