Statement by PV Sindhu
Sindhu told the BWF website that though her opponent was lower-ranked, she didn’t want to assume that the game would be easy. She set her focus and got used to the court.
She also said that it is important to play all your strokes and get used to it on the court, itself. This is because you can’t play those strokes all of a sudden, against an opponent who is quite strong. It is necessary to judge yourself that your strokes are either going well or not.
