PUBG Patch 34.1 Brings Vehicle Buffs, Gunplay Tweaks, and a New 1v1 Arcade Mode
Live Maintenance Schedule and Map Rotation
The update will be available on February 12 for PC and February 20 for consoles. In AS and SEA regions, normal matches with fixed & rotating maps, also feature Rondo, Miramar, Taego, and Vikendi. The maps for ranked matches are: Erangel, Miramar, Taego, Rondo, and Vikendi.
Vehicle Overhaul
Multiple vehicles are now paired with enhanced powertrains. The Pillar Security Car has been nerfed with a 10% reduction in max speed and acceleration. The UAZ, Pickup, Food Truck, Porter, and Blanc gain a 5% speed boost, while the Dacia, Motorbike, Buggy, Quad, Van, Snowmobile, and Boat receive a 10% increase. The Dacia, Mirado, Pony Coupe, and Coupe RB are all part of the trunk system now, while Pillar Security Car’s trunk capacity decreased from 400 to 150. Dacia has a better grip on snow, the Porter has gained weight, and Buggy and Quad received tougher tires.
Gunplay Updates
The Mk12 now has increased recoil and reduced effectiveness at long range. Its two-shot kill range against Level 2 armor drops from 118m to 83m. Additionally, the 7.62mm ammo weight is reduced by 15%. Shotguns have been balanced and reworked. The S1897 has a more compact spread and a quicker pump. The S12K fires more widely but does less damage. The S686 has an improved spread pattern, while the DBS now deals more damage over distance with reduced recoil.
New Arcade Mode: 1v1 Arena
The new 1v1 Arena mode allows players to engage in intense duels. It runs from February 12–26 on PC and February 20–March 6 on consoles. Players select their gear between each round, while a “Ready Up” feature expedites matchmaking.
Map Changes, Season Rewards, and Ranked Mode
There’s now destructible terrain on Sanhok at Quarry, Ruins, and Tambang. Gas stations in Erangel and Taego have been redesigned, adding new fuel pumps for vehicle refueling. Season 34 ranked rewards feature MG3 weapon skins, PUBG ID emblems as well as nameplates and medals. The Top 500 gets animated cosmetics exclusive to them.
Upcoming Changes and Bug Fixes
Update 34.2 in March will improve the Hideout system, scaling materials from salvaging Progressive weapon skins based on level. Bug fixes address hitbox inconsistencies, teleportation glitches, and observer mode errors. UI updates improve killed visibility and loading screens on consoles.
