The Italian capital club defeated Feyenoord by the scoreline of 1-0 in the first conference league final in Tirana, Albania, with Nicolo Zaniolo scoring the only goal of the first half of the match.

The game started quite discreetly, facing strong tackles from both sides, nonetheless, Feyenoord took control of the game and dominated it.

However, the Dutch couldn’t create a real chance and it was Rome that led the first half.

Mourinho’s team broke on that lead, but Feyenoord wanted to regain the lead early in the second half, and Mancini directed a dangerous low ball to his own post gaining possible handball penalties, however, he managed to be in the clear.

However, the Eredivisie team continued to put pressure on them, and Rui Patricio had to do very well to divert Tyrell Malacia’s shot. Cyriel Dessers created quite the shock for Roma when he broke through the hour mark, but the handball means it wouldn’t have counted even if he scored.

Regardless, in the last 30 minutes of the game, Giallorossi improved made a solid defensive display, maintained a narrow lead to the end, and sighed relief when Bryan Linssen missed his chance to get injured.
