February is shaping up to be an exciting month for Pokémon Go players, with several major events planned. The game kicks off with wrapping up the Dual Destiny season adding a Hoopa Unbound Raid Day and a “Road to Unova” event that will culminate in the Pokémon Go Tour: Unova next month.
Pokemon Go February 2025: Raids, Spotlight Hours, Community Day, and Special Events
Hisuian Enamorus joins the raid lineup, amid returning foes like Xerneas and Yveltal from Pokémon X and Y, with Mega Tyranitar and Mega Garchomp also appearing in Mega Raids, while Shadow Regirock appears in Shadow Raids every weekend. There are also various Pokemon Go Spotlight Hours planned throughout the month, starting with Carvanha on February 4, followed by Luvdisc, Inkay, Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott later on in the month, all featuring bonuses, such as double XP or Stardust.
A new “Small Yet Strong” event will run from February 5-8, showcasing tiny Pokémon such as Natu and Burmy, with special bonuses, including double XP for catching Pokémon. Two Pokémon will be featured during the February Community Day (February 9): Shelmet and Karrablast will be appearing more frequently in the wild. The other is Hoopa Unbound Raid Day on February 15, when trainers will be able to battle and receive it in a five-star raid, as well as earn bonus Raid Passes, XP, and Stardust for completing the battle with a paid ticket.
From February 24 to March 1, the “Road to Unova” event will space out Pokémon from the Unova region, including legendary Pokémon such as Genesect, Reshiram, and Zekrom, various raids, and special research tasks and half-distance egg hatching.
