Sony has officially formally unveiled the new selection of PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 games that will be made accessible through PlayStation Plus in July 2022. The games that will be available on PS Plus in the future month were revealed through a recent leak from the past few days.
Beginning the following week, on July 5, 2022, Sony will introduce three new games to PlayStation Plus. These games will be available through August 2nd. The highlight of the July PS Plus lineup is Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, which will be made natively available for both the PS5 and PS4.
The fourth mainline Crash Bandicoot game was released less than two years ago, so its PS Plus inclusion is noteworthy. Since Naughty Dog created Crash, he served as the PlayStation mascot when the PlayStation 1 initially launched. It therefore only seems right to see Crash and PlayStation working together once more in this manner.
In addition to Crash Bandicoot 4, PS Plus subscribers will also be able to get Arcadegeddon for both the PS5 and PS4. This co-op multiplayer shooter from Illfonic has stunningly vivid graphics. The PS4 release of The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan will round up the July 2022 program. Man of Medan opens the Dark Pictures Anthology by Supermassive Games, which is subsequently followed by Little Hope and House of Ashes. The fourth entry in the series, The Devil in Me, is slated to air later in 2022.
Overall, the PlayStation Plus games for July 2022 are quite good. Man of Medan is already playable through PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium, therefore some users are technically receiving two subscriptions if there is one negative.
