Sony has announced the December 2024 free games for PlayStation Plus, as well as some special bonus offerings to celebrate PlayStation’s 30th anniversary. Sony confirmed the news in a blog post, noting that PlayStation Plus members will be able to access It Takes Two, Aliens: Dark Descent, and Temtem starting December 3 until January 6.

Coming on the heels of the news that the developer teased a new game its release on PlayStation Plus is well timed. In the game that you describe gorgeous graphics where players move fast in a co-op, and players sometimes need to work together to solve all of the puzzles and advance, through the story.

Aliens: Dark Descent, created by Tindalos Interactive, is a real-time tactical game set within the Alien universe. It mingles survival horror and strategy, with players up against Xenomorphs and other sinister threats. It sets a tense mood, yet it’s not without its technical problems, which could impact the overall experience. Crema’s Temtem is an MMORPG inspired by the Pokémon series.
As players explore the world and then battle each other, they capture and train creatures called Temtem. While it features some interesting new ideas for monster-catching, it also simultaneously feels unfinished in many respects. There’s even an offer for PlayStation Plus members to join in the 30th-anniversary celebrations.
Premium members can also try a game trial of Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 beginning December 3. Three classic PlayStation games are also coming to the Premium lineup on December 10: Sly 2: Band of Thieves, Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, and Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy. Lastly will be a free online multiplayer weekend from December 6-8, where players can play any game with PS4 and PS5 owners, even if they don’t have a PlayStation Plus subscription.
