Play Three Call of Duty Games on Game Pass Beginning October 25

Microsoft announced a while back that three classic Call of Duty titles will soon be available on Xbox Cloud Gaming via an EA Game Pass Ultimate which is dated October 25, 2024. For gamers who want to play Call of Duty but avoid the high price, this is huge news. While we already knew that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 was coming straight to Xbox Game Pass, the addition for cloud-streaming adds these games too and lets gamers with lower-spec hardware join in on the fun.

Call of Duty Games Playable on Stream on Game Pass

This lineup of games includes Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, and Call of Duty: Warzone over on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to stream through the cloud. The rollout starts at 10 AM PDT / 1 PM EDT / 6 PM BST. While for the majority of Game Pass Ultimate subscribers, this might not be a particularly notable update given that Modern Warfare III has been available since July, Warzone being free to play on all platforms.

Still, the ability to stream these games should be an attractive prospect for many of you out there since it benefits Microsoft and its ambitions with Xbox Cloud Gaming. It works on Xbox consoles, as well as PCs and Android devices. It also supports iOS (including it via the web), Amazon Fire TV sticks, Meta Quest headsets and select Samsung TVs. To make this streaming possible, Microsoft had to renegotiate streaming rights with Ubisoft.
