After a season at Newcastle United, ‘Gini’ joined Liverpool FC in the summer of 2016. The versatile midfielder won the 2019 UEFA Champions League with the Reds and the English Premier League crown in 2019-2020. He made 237 appearances and scored 22 goals for the Reds, also lifting the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup in 2020″, PSG stated.

Paris Saint-Germain have proved how good they are in recent years and I am convinced that together, with our supporters, we can go even further and higher”
The Dutchman’s contract with Liverpool is over at the end of this month, and any club could have signed for free from Liverpool.

He had a great role in Jurgen Klopp’s team for winning the Champions League scoring a crucial brace goal against Barcelona in the semi-finals and was also crucial in their Premier League winning campaign.
