To make the non-subscription-based office users happy, Microsoft announced that it will continue its long-time tradition of distributing standalone Office Suites with the release of its new Office 2021.
The Windows maker also makes its case for the new Microsoft 365 service as a connected platform that bundles together Office apps with 1 TB of OneDrive storage as a value proposition in this press release on October 1.
Microsoft Teams which is a prominent collaboration tool that leverages features such as video conferencing is stated as a key component of the Office and will also be available in the upcoming Office 2021 product.
One interesting featuring of Teams that makes collaboration much easier is real-time co-authoring which decreases downtime by allowing multiple users to simultaneously access the same document. Windows 11 will reportedly have Teams pre-installed and users on Windows 10 and macOS can also experience Microsoft Teams with Office 2021 and Microsoft 365.
Tomorrow is the much-expected launch of Microsoft’s latest Windows 11, and Office comes updated with a sleek and innovative design matching the Windows 11 style and interface.
