The Union of European Football Associations or UEFA announced the 2020/21 goal of the season winner award. Undoubtedly, Mehdi Taremi of Porto club wins the battle among many nominees. The administration crowned him with the goal of the season award for the last league campaign.
In the quarter-final of the last season, against Chelsea, he performed a terrific bicycle kick. Porto emerged victoriously in that match and that goal marked the match as well and became one of the greatest goals of all time.
The Eligibility for the goal of the season award
Only those goals will be considered, and those players will be considered who netted their respective goals for their respective UEFA clubs or any international tournaments which should take place between October 2020, and July 2021.
The best goals from this period will get into the nominees. The final selection for the goal of the season award will be decided via votes. The goals will only be eligible to the official vote portal of the UEFA, only if they come from any footballer’s leg in that period.
The goal of Mehdi Taremi beats various terrific goals
