The midfielder signed a new contract with the La Liga giants, which is staying one more year at the club, and the contract expires on June 2023. On Wednesday, Real Madrid disclosed the news of their star player Luka Modric staying at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu. Reports from the MARCA, state that both the club as well as the player have agreed on the contract expansion which is going to run till June 30, 2023.

As Luka Modric has confirmed a new deal with the Los Blancos, Real Madrid is now solely focusing on building a strong squad for the 2022/23 campaign.
