Atletico Madrid’s star footballer Luis Suarez is all set to leave his club at the end of the current campaign when his contract gets over. Reports also state that multiple clubs have been looking forward to seeking this opportunity and getting Suarez on a free transfer. The 35-year-old won the first La Liga title scoring 21 goals under the reign of Diego Simeone, is currently poised to walk away from it with the end of his contract.
Sources also state that Suarez hasn’t even received any news regarding his extension at Atletico Madrid, despite that he himself is confident about the fact that he will perform at the highest level. He is also expecting to gain a spot for the Qatar World Cup and for that he will look forward move elsewhere for the rest of his career.
Where will Suarez go?
If he exits Madrid, he will have no shortage of places where he can go, as the clubs are sitting in front of the next transfer window and pick star players like him. Among the clubs who are interested at present are Inter Milan and Ajax. Also, Sevilla is reported to have an interest in the Uruguayan striker.
Sources also verify that Suarez wants to stay in Spain where he has played since heading to Barcelona when the club won the trophy in 2014. He is hoping that the La Liga clubs also keep some close tabs on the situation of he leaving Madrid. Also, Suarez wants more challenges at the end of his career in Europe before he retires. He will play till the next season and might end his career alongside Lionel Messi.

Luis Suarez has turned down offers from South America and he thinks that his terrific goal tally makes him one of the best in this business and he can still perform at a good level.
