Lucifer is an American-based comedy-drama, urban fantasy, superhero TV series, which was firstly premiered on Fox on January 25th, 2016. It has come to be known that Fox has premiered only for 3 seasons after that, it canceled to stream it. Later on, Netflix took over the series and released the 4th season, which becomes a huge success. It is developed by Tom Kapinos and is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer Television DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Television. The producers of the series are Alex Katsnelson, Michael Azzolino, Erik Holmberg, and Karen Gaviola. The series is based on characters created from DC characters by Neil Gaimen from the comic book series “The Sandman”.
The story of the series revolves around Lucifer Morningstar, the Devil who becomes a consultant to the Los Angeles police after abandoning hell for Los Angeles where he runs his own nightclub named lux and finds himself involved in a murder investigation.
The last season saw Lucifer go through a lot of changes and also redeem his banishment from Heaven.

The teaser trailer was released on 25th July 2020. It is a minute-long video clip of the teaser that shows the fans to look back at various moments across the previous seasons. Lucifer was shown that he was pulled over by the police upon which he tells the officer that it was his last night in L.A.

Release Date
Lucifer’s sixth and final season is going to be released on 10th September on Netflix. The announcement regarding release was made by Netflix on 26th July 2021.
Ellis, and executive producers Joe Henderson and Idly Modrovich have made the announcement at the virtual Comic-Con@Home on Saturday. Netflix Geeked has shared on its official Twitter account that, “even bad things must come to an end” as it posted the teaser of the final season.
