    Lenovo’s PC sales market share in China has reached 40%, making a new record

    Lenovo is having the best run in the market since COVID has hit the world and is making good progress with its wide range of PC, laptops and accessories. It is increasing its revenues each quarter since the pandemic forced everyone to shift to home, and the demand has risen ever since then.

    The Chinese OEM has been dominant in its own market and the world, offering multiple devices its various line-ups, including ThinkPad, ThinkBook, Ideapad, Yoga, Legion and much more. So, essentially it is offering the latest specs with good quality at attractive prices to lure customers from various profiles.

    Recently it’s been reported by ITHome that Liu Jun, the executive vice president and president of Lenovo Group in China, has issued an email entitled “Sky Rack, Sea Cloud, Dragon and Wind Tiger” to all employees in China. Liu Jun said: “Lenovo China has opened its doors. Under the guidance of the “Sunrise Oriental” strategy, Lenovo has fully surpassed Dream Goal, and its quarterly turnover has increased by more than 50% year on year, setting a record high!”

    Lenovo did recently announced its revenue in the last quarter, and the figures are indeed promising. It is being stated that Lenovo’s PC sales market share in China has reached a whopping 40%, a year-on-year increase of 4.2%, a record high in the same period in history. 

    The revenue of Lenovo China’s smart products, smart infrastructure, and smart service businesses achieved year-on-year growth of 173%, 58%, and 43%, respectively. The 3S business accounted for more than 25% of total revenue. Liu Jun even said that Lenovo’s transformation in China has ushered in a breakthrough, and the overall business has entered a growth channel.
