Lenovo has officially introduced the ThinkBook 14+ and ThinkBook 16+ notebooks, following the announcement that preorders will begin this month.
The laptops, which are powered by Intel i5-12500H and i7-12700H processors, are designed for portability and are hence small and light. On some of the models, the 12th Gen Intel processors are paired with the NVIDIA RTX 2050 GPU.
The configuration along with the pricing of the notebooks has been given below (via IT Home):
ThinkBook 14+
- i5-12500H: the starting price of 4,999 Yuan (around $785)
- i7-12700H: the starting price of 6,099 Yuan (around $958)
- i5-12500H + RTX 2050: starting price of 6,299 Yuan (around $990)
- i7-12700H + RTX 2050: starting price of 6,999 Yuan (around $1099)
ThinkBook 16+
- i5-12500H: starting price of 4,999 Yuan (around $785)
- i5-12500H + RTX 2050: starting price of 6,299 Yuan (around $990)
- i7-12700H + RTX 2050: starting price of 6,999 Yuan (around $1099)
The ThinkBook 14+ has a 14-inch 16:10 screen with 2.8K resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and 100% sRGB colour gamut. It has an all-metal body that is 15.9mm in thickness. Thunderbolt 4, full-featured USB-C, HDMI 2.1, RJ45 network port, microSD card reader and other interfaces are included.
The ThinkBook 16+ has a 16-inch 16:10 screen with a 2.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 100% sRGB colour gamut. It has an all-metal body with a thickness of 16.5mm once again. Thunderbolt 4, full-featured USB-C, HDMI 2.1, RJ45 network port, SD card reader, and other interfaces are included.
The i5-12500H used in this series of notebooks has four large cores and eight small cores, while the i7-12700H has six large cores and eight small cores. LPDDR5 memory and a regular 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD help with this. The Lenovo ThinkBook 14+ and ThinkBook 16+ thin and light notebooks will go on sale in China on March 28th, with a global release expected soon after.
