On Friday, Amazon Prime Video has made an announcement about the release date of a new Tamil Film named Jai Bhim. It is starring Suriya in a lead role. The film is all set to get its release on the streaming platform just before Diwali i.e. on 2nd November 2021.
This film is written and directed by a journalist-turned-filmmaker named TJ Gnanavel of Kootathil Oruthan fame. The film also boasts of an impressive supporting star cast that includes Rajisha Vijayan and Prakash Raj. In addition to acting in it, Suriya has also bankrolled the film under his production banner 2D Entertainment.
This film i.e. Jai Bhim is the third movie out of the fourth movie which has made a deal with Suriya’s 2D Entertainment and has also signed with Amazon Prime Video. The first was a political satire named Raman Aandalum Ravanan Aandalum, which was released in the last month. The second film’s name is Udanpirapee, starring Jyotika and Sasikumar who are portraying the lead roles. It is going to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on 14th October 2021 i.e. coinciding with the puja holidays. And the final film Oh My doG! will release on the OTT platform in the month of December.
Recently the lead actor, Suriya is busy for his shooting for a new movie named Etharkkum Thunindhavan, which is written and directed by Pandiraj. His other film named Vaadi Vaasal which is been directed by Vetri Maaran is in pre-production.
