Manchester United completed the sign with Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund, with a fee of around 80 million euros, on Friday. Now, the red devils have revealed the jersey number of the English player, who will play as a winger for the club.
On Friday, Manchester United revealed that Jadon Sancho will wear the jersey number 25 for the club, from the next season, i.e., 2022-23.

Jadon Sancho has been good for Borussia Dortmund, for the years he played. Out of his 137 appearances, he scored 50 goals, along with 64 assists. He also played for his former club in UEFA U19 and U19, and combining this, out of his 6 appearances, he scored 4 goals 2 assists.
He is expected to keep up his performance while playing for Man United as well. Even he has played for Manchester United earlier, in under 18, under 23, and UEFA under 19. Out of his 35 appearances for Man United at the junior level, he has scored 20 goals along with 8 assists.
Currently, he is only 21 years of age, and at this level only, he has proved himself to a great extent and has established himself as a well-known international footballer as well. Also, he plays an important role, while playing for his national team as well. It will be an interesting matter to see, how he shows his efficiency in his new club, as a Midfielder.
Speculations regarding his jersey number
There has been much speculation for a few days, that what will be the jersey number of the English player. Also, many guessed that wither he will wear the shirt number of 7 or 16. However, the Old Trafford outfit has shown Sancho’s jersey number to be 25. Earlier, Antonio Valencia and Odion Ighalo used to wear this jersey number.
