The IPL has once again blessed with speedster Umran Malik who has been a hit with bowling. On Thursday, Umran Malik touched a mark of 157KMPH. This is the second-fastest delivery in the entire history of IPL and the fastest delivery in IPL 2022.
The 157 kmph delivery bowled by Umran is the second fastest delivery in IPL history.
Before Umran Malik, Shaun Tait created a record of 157.71 kmph bowling for Rajasthan Royals.
Umran even surpassed his bowling coach Dale Steyn who was the best. He recorded 154.40 kmph when he bowled against CSK.
Umran Malik has now raised the bar and has the four highest deliveries in IPL 2022. Pacer Lockie Ferguson from Gujarat Titans had started this war when he bowled at 153.9 KMPH at the start of IPL 2022. But, the youngster crossed the mark 4 times.

Though Umran Malik had set a benchmark and impressed the selectors still his pace could not scalp wickets for SRH. He leaked 52 runs in four overs which is definitely a matter of concern. SRH lost the match to DC by 21 runs and is currently placed at the 6th position of the POINTS TABLE.
David Warner’s unbeaten 92 helped Delhi capitals achieve the big score of 207/3.
Umran has been making the headlines in IPL 2022 due to his pace and verve. He finished with figures of 5/25 against Gujarat Titans, which is the best bowling figure this season so far. He also picked up 4/28 against Punjab Kings.
