Ravindra Jadeja, the former skipper of CSK is having the worst time in IPL. He gave up the captaincy and has been ruled out of IPL due to a rib injury.
The all-rounder’s upper body got injured while he was fielding against Royal Challengers Bangalore. He had to miss his game against Delhi Capitals. CSK camp has been handling the situation and they reported that Ravindra Jadeja is in a much better condition. As per the official confirmation of CSK, Ravindra Jadeja won’t be a part of the remaining games of the IPL 2022 season.
In the statement released by CSK, it said that, “Ravindra Jadeja reported a bruised rib and was unavailable for Chennai Super Kings’ game against Delhi Capitals on Sunday. He was under observation and based on medical advice he has been ruled out for the rest of the IPL season,”
It’s very bad news for CSK, that Ravindra Jadeja’s rib has been injured. it’s very important for CSK to win all the there three remaining games to qualify for the playoffs. It’s a do or a die situation for them.
Ravindra Jadeja played a total of 10 matches this season, scoring 116 runs at a low strike rate of 118.37. He also failed to be consistent in bowling. Third, he dropped really easy catches. His performance in 2022’s IPL has been very poor. In turn, it affected Chennai Super King’s performance as a whole.
