The IPL 2022 will kickstart from March 26, the first match between CSK and KKR. The 70 matches will be played across four venues in Maharashtra, in Mumbai and Pune to be precise.
The cricketers and every member associated with IPL have to undergo strict quarantine procedures before they get into the bio-bubble environment. An RT-PCR test is must before leaving for Mumbai and take part in the competition. The players will be tested on the first, third and fifth days.
Let’s take a look at the hotels where the 10 IPL teams will be staying.
1. Kolkata Knight Riders – ITC Grand Central, Mumbai

2. Mumbai Indians- Trident BKC, Mumbai

Mumbai Indians will be accommodated at the Trident Hotel. Rohit Sharma-led side will be staying at a different location than CSK. The Trident Hotel is located at the business hub of Mumbai which is the Bandra Kurla Complex famously known as ‘BKC’.
3. Punjab Kings – Renaissance hotel, Mumbai

The Punjab Kings will stay at the Renaissance Hotel in the Powai area of Mumbai. The Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel is located on the banks of Powai Lake and this world-class hotel is just 4.3 miles away from Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport.
4. Sunrisers Hyderabad – ITC Maratha, Mumbai

The 2016 champions will be residing at ITC Maratha in Andheri East in Mumbai. It is 1.1 miles away from Mumbai International Airport and 3.1 miles away from the Mumbai Domestic Airport.
5. Royal Challengers Bangalore – Taj Lands End, Mumbai

The Royals Challengers Bangalore team will be staying at the Taj Lands End in Bandra. The hotel is one of the most popular hotels and has a lot of luxurious facilities to offer.
6. Chennai Super Kings- Trident Nariman Point, Mumbai

CSK will stay at the iconic Trident Hotel in the posh area of Nariman Point in Mumbai. The Trident Hotel is one of the famous as well as one of the oldest five-star hotels with its branches led out in different cities like Jaipur, Udaipur, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, etc.
7. Rajasthan Royals – Grand Hyatt, Mumbai

Rajasthan Royals and its team will be staying at the Grand Hyatt located off the Western Express Highway in Santacruz (E). It is one of the successful five-star hotels in India, the Grand Hyatt also has its branches in many other countries in the world including Bali, Dubai, Hong Kong, etc.
8. Delhi Capitals – Taj Palace, Mumbai

The Delhi Capitals team will be staying at Taj Palace which is located in Colaba in Mumbai. The five-star hotel is located next to the iconic ‘Gateway of India’ which is a tourist attraction in Mumbai.
9. Lucknow Super Giants – Taj Vivanta, Mumbai

The Lucknow Super Giants will be accommodated at the Taj Vivanta which is located at Cuffe Parade in the posh area of South Mumbai.
10. Gujarat Titans – JW Marriott, Sahar, Mumbai

The new entrant in IPL Gujarat Titans will be staying at the JW Marriott which is located in the Sahar area of Andheri in Mumbai. The hotel is nearby domestic and international airports.
