Instagram is the biggest troller that refuses to acknowledge the existence of the iPad

Instagram is one of the most famous social media platforms in the market and has many individuals whom we call influencers. It is a platform to increase the digital connection across people however, it still doesn’t have an iPad app!

On iPad, users are forced to choose between the sub-par web or iPhone app experiences and we still are waiting for confirmation from Facebook-owned service. This weekend there was a new question and answer session, Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri addressed the continued lack of an iPad app, and unfortunately, things are not about to change anytime soon.

In a response to the simple question “Where’s the Instagram iPad app?,” Mosseri explained:

“I spent a bit of a time on an iPad because I was on a flight, but still no iPad app for Instagram. It would be nice to do, but there’s a lot to do and only so many people, so it hasn’t cut.”

I must say, I feel that right now Instagram is trolling us by refusing to make an iPad app and this feeling is not good. Instagram for iPad has been one of the most often-requested features about the social network, even dating back to the pre-Facebook days.

According to a blog post at 9to5Mac byZac Hall:

It makes so much sense. Instagram is fantastic for sharing our favorite photos and videos, and iPads are wonderful for appreciating both. Instagram Stories are even delightful (despite being blatantly ripped off from Snapchat). And IGTV appears to be a total dud, but a tablet version would be neat if it wasn’t!

Facebook and Instagram know the iPad exists. Facebook does a semi-okay job of supporting Facebook and Messenger on the iPad, and Instagram even has two iPad camera apps — Hyperlapseand Boomerang — just not, you know, the main app.

Instagram also announced earlier this year that users are now able to post to the social network from the web. However, here comes the trolling as the service omitted iPad from this feature, despite its desktop-class browser.
