Indian bowler Mohammad Shami has got injured again, and left-arm pacer Jaydev Unadkat received the opportunity to play for India in the test series against Bangladesh. He had a fabulous season in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and he’ll be in Bangladesh to play in place of Shami who suffered a shoulder injury before the series.
In the Vijay Hazare Trophy, he bagged 19 wickets in 10 matches. He led Saurashtra to win this edition and got a chance to play for the national team. Earlier, he made his Test debut against South Africa in 2010 but didn’t get featured in any other games.
He scalped 353 wickets in 96 First-CLass games overall including 2019-2020. In that season, he picked 67 wickets in the Ranji Trophy that helped his team win the domestic tournament.
Unadkat is waiting to finish his visa paperwork in Rajkot right now. Over the following several days, he is anticipated to join the Test team in Chattogram.

He has since participated in 10 Twenty20 Internationals and seven One Day Internationals, but was never a candidate for the five-day match.
