Chelsea claims a technology glitch is at fault for their part in the dramatic collapse of Hakim Ziyech’s shift to PSG. Ziyech’s botched move to the club. The move has been officially rejected after The France Football Authorities declined an appeal to ratify the move after it fell down that left the forward ‘upset.’
Chelsea claims a computer glitch in Hakim Ziyech’s transfer to PSG
The concerned deal regarding Hakim Ziyech’s move to PSG has had difficulties the entire day but seemed to be finally on track just hours before the deadline at 11.
But with a contract signed between both clubs, the move malfunctioned after it was claimed that Chelsea provided the wrong documentation to sign off on the deal more than once. The Ligue 1 club came up with an appeal to revive the swoop- but that was called off by the Ligue de Football Professional (LFP) on early Wednesday morning.
After a day’s discussion about the move, Chelsea sent the required documents to PSG before the deadline. They later returned the document and asked the Blues to sign it, which they did and responded within adequate time. But later it came out the email couldn’t go along owing to an error.
After PSG resent it and Chelsea again responded back at 11 am, that was granted to be too late. Chelsea denied acquisitions in France that they sent the incorrect document thrice.
Leaves the forward upset
Nevertheless, the incident has left Hakim Ziyech upset, given the entire day went by pushing a shift to PSG that at one time looked doubtful. Ziyench desired a shift to PSG where he would play beside Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, and Neymar and finally seemed happy after the loan deal between the clubs.
However, the hopes being shattered this way, it’s quite obvious the Morocco international will be left upset.
