1: Shubman Gill’s Steady Batting: On a tricky pitch and slow wicket, where the opponent bowlers were simply outstanding, Gill’s steady inning helped GT cross pass a decent total of 140. Gill showed massive endurance and hand in there till the end as he scored a patient 63 off just 49 balls with seven classy fours included in it. He was awarded the man of the match.
2: Opening Partnership Didn’t Execute for LSG: While chasing a target close to 150 on a tricky pitch, the right execution from the opening pair is important which was missing in today’s game. Both the openers Quinton de Kock and skipper KL Rahul were sent back to the pavilion soon by Yash Dayal and M Shami respectively.
