Getting the RR skipper Sanju Samson out

RR was playing in a good form when Sanju Samson was firing on the Titans’ bowlers. At that time, Buttler was playing run a ball and later fired on scoring 89 of 56. Sanju Samson overall scored 47 of 26 with 5 fours and 3 sixes, and the game would have been gone completely out of Gujarat’s hand, if Sai Kishore wouldn’t get him out, with Alzarri Joseph taking the catch. Samson’s wicket restricted RR within 200, and a 200 above scored surely would have been the winning score on Eden Gardens’ pitch.

    GT batters scoring runs

When you’re chasing a good target of 188, you always need your players to score runs and deliver a team game, Though Wriddhiman Saha got out initially, except him all the GT batters played well and scored runs. Subhman Gill and Mathew Wade handled the business for some time, scoring 35 of 21, and 35 of 30 respectively, and Hardik and Miller’s partnership at the end led Gujarat past the victory line with ease.

    David Miller’s phenomenal innings

We’ve seen that David Miller has been in tremendous form this season, which is reflected in these phenomenal innings against RR at the Qualifier 1 too. He scored a stormy 68 of 38 deliveries with 3 fours and 5 sixes, and chases 16 runs in the last over, hitting three consecutive sixes. Also, skipper Hardik Pandya supported him in a great way scoring 40 of 27 with 5 fours.
