February 2025 PlayStation Plus Free Games Revealed

PlayStation has announced the free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers for February 2025. Beginning February 4, PS Plus members can add the following three awesome titles to your game library: Payday 3, High on Life, and Pac-Man World: Re-Pac.

If you haven’t redeemed January’s free games yet, you should do so before next Tuesday, because the new offerings will be coming soon. Sony also announced a change to the PlayStation Plus games.

From January 2026 onwards, the company will transition to emphasizing PS5 titles on the monthly games and Game Catalog benefits. While PS4 owners might still get free games, they will only be offered sporadically going forward.

PlayStation Plus February 2025 Free Games: Payday 3, High on Life, Pac-Man World: Re-Pac

While Payday 3 launched with server issues and lower-than-expected player numbers, it still offers a thrilling bank-heist experience. The game’s developer, Starbreeze, has pledged to improve the experience with regular updates, which Starbreeze calls “Operation Medic Bag,” including patches and an offline mode to address the issues experienced in the early days of the game.

High on Life

High on Life is a first-person shooter from Justin Roiland and Tanya Watson that builds on the humor of Rick and Morty In the game, players wield very loquacious guns while fighting their way through a universe controlled by an alien cartel that is addicted to humans. The game is drenched in the comedic world of Roiland, who resigned from the original developers’ Squanch Games back in 2023 due to some controversy.

Pac-Man World: Re-Pac

A 2022 remake of the original Pac-Man World platformer, Pac-Man World: Re-Pac offers enhanced graphics and overhauled gameplay. Pac-Man sets out on a mission to rescue his family and friends from the ghosts who have kidnapped them. The game brings a nostalgic yet fresh experience for fans of the iconic yellow character.
