Along with his batting and bowling skills, his leadership skills improved significantly. All these make him the perfect all-rounder.
In Napier, Hardik Pandya has led the Indian team in five matches and won all of them. Even much-celebrated Indian captains MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli didn’t have this record.
Under Pandya’s guidance in June 2022, India faced Ireland in Dublin and registered a 2-0 victory against them. Later he was the stand-in skipper for Lauderhill T20 against West Indies where the men in blue won again by 88 runs. Now, in November, Hardik Pandya had his third victory as an Indian skipper against New Zealand by 1-0.

His confidence in big matches reflects his experience and hard work over the years. It’s also likely that Hardik Pandya will be replacing Rohit Sharma as Indian T20I captain.
