On Wednesday, the theatrical trailer of Etharkkum Thunindhavan was revealed by Sun Pictures. The film stars Suriya in the lead role. The trailer went on air at a grand event in Chennai in the presence of the entire cast and crew of the movie alongside hundreds of Suriya fans.

In the beginning, the trailer of Etharkkum Thunindhavan shows a narration from Sathyaraj where he is narrating about a person who desired to be a scientist but he (Sathyaraj) wanted him to become something else. And then the audience sees Suriya slitting someone’s throat as if it belongs to a ritual sacrifice. The ominous background score and the subsequent Sathyaraj’s narration blaming fate takes a time travel in the past, showing Suryia and his family in happy times.
Suriya appears to be a happy-go-lucky guy, who is a dance freak and fond of jokes and laughs. He even loves a girl and has got full family support. He lives a healthy, blissful life until sometimes massively terrible happens. The audience further sees a series of girls being killed, shifting Suryia’s life upside down.
Vinay Rai plays the main antagonist in the movie and guessing from his dialogues he appears to be an outright sexist. He says, “Women are the weaker sex”. Just after a few moments, Suriya tells a woman, “We need to show them Women’s strength.”
The trailer has another punchline when Suriya says that when he wears a lawyer’s gown the judge is another person but in his vesti he’s the judge! The dialogue could remind the fans of Suryia’s latest movie Jai Bhim where he portrayed the role of a High Court lawyer.
Etharkkum Thunindhavan: Release Date
Priyanka Arul Mohan, Soori, Saranya Ponvannan will be seen in the movie. The Pandiraj written and directed movie will hit the theatres on March 10th.
