It was last year that comedian Ellen DeGeneres confirmed the news in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. The Daily Mail claimed that the days of the show were numbered due to a lack of rating.

In an interview, Ellen Degeneres assured me that the real reason had nothing to do with the viewer’s problem. She further states, “When you are a creative person, you need to be constantly challenged, and as good as this show is and as funny as it is, it is no longer a challenge for me”.
